NSAIDs

If you find yourself taking more and more NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen to counter inflammation and pain consider food-based anti-inflammatories instead. The effect won't be as quick but if you consistently include foods such as turmeric, green tea, peppers and ginger in your diet then you may be able to reduce your self-medication.
